Video conferencing reflection.

I like thing is interesting. It’s make me concentration. And I dislike thing is students have to a headset, web cam etc. But I don’t have a webcam and head set.
How to using video conferencing my own teaching? I will use a cancel a class time. Example is we sometimes have to do cancel a class. A few teachers are students not want time required to attend. In that case, I will be require attend video conferencing.
Advantage and disadvantage video conferencing in education. In my opinion, advantage thing is free. Video conferencing is can do using free. It’s good and important. Education of opportunity has to equal. And another thing is no barriers of space. It’s useful when teacher teaching students fur away. Disadvantage thing is sometimes expensive. Camera computer, headset, webcam software etc. It’s make students burden. If students don’t have camera like me. Students maybe feel alienated. I think its environment is important.

Things to Consider

What is an authoring tool and what can they be used for?
An authoring tool is an installable program that allows you to create materials in electronic format.
After creating the materials, they can be distributed on a CD-Rom, DVD, and other media for use by your learners.
Allows you to include audio files in MP3 format and store materials for access on the Internet.

If I wanted to make a simple exercise for your students. I make simple activities (related to the class goal or function), and will be proceed at the beginning of class. Time is about 5 minute. Simple exercise has to basic, functional, do not burden, not boring.
I will create myself exercises. Method is include working with external web pages, using web page design skills. May also include the use of small programs installed on my own computer.
The choice of tool will be determined by the materials my want to produce.

Things to consider

Discuss how to set up a simple blog, wiki, OR podcast project with learners.

How to set up a WIKI
Using a free wiki site, the teacher sets up the first page of a wiki, outlining the topic of the project, and the steps the learners will need to take in the project. Below is a screenshot of the first page of the wiki set up in pdwiki.

How to set up a blog
To create a self-hosted blogyou need a domain name and a web host. Even though a site like Blogger is free and makes setup a snap, you don't actually own the content or the site because it's hosted on Blogger's domain. I never, ever recommend free hosted sites. I think they look cheap, lack professionalism and often times people don't take your site seriously. If you use a company like WebsitePalace.com to buy your domain and host your site then you can setup a self-hosted WordPress blog for free in seconds with their WordPress hosting plan. You simply login to your hosting account and follow the instructions for launching your WordPress blog. It literally takes minutes.
I like WordPress much better because there are a handful of free plug-ins you can use to make your blog much more interactive, functional and dynamic. Let's say you want to add a shopping cart to your blog so people can buy products. With WordPress, all you have to do is download a plug-in (most are free) and the functionality will be added to your blog in seconds! There are literally thousands of free plug-ins available.

How to set up a podcast
Using a free podcast site like podOmatic, the teacher sets up a podcast page for the project. This needs to be done at home or in the computer room before class. To record a podcast, the teacher needs a computer and internet connection, and a microphone and speakers or headset. Podcast sites are extremely easy to use and no specialist technical knowledge is needed. The podcast page provides a website for learners to post their podcasts to.

Discuss the difference between a blog and a wiki.

A blog is essentially an online journal or diary, usually written by one person, which is added to regularly. Most blog owner and also to subsequent visitors who can in turn comment further. A wiki, on the other hand, is like a public website, or public web page, started by one person, but which subsequent visitors can add to, delete or change as they wish. Instead of being a static web page or website like a blog, a wiki is more dynamic, and can have multiple authors. A wiki is like having a publicly accessible word processing document available online, which anyone can edit.
Essentially a wiki is not liner, like a blog. A blog consists of a number of postings, Which are published on one web page, in reverse chronological order with the most recent posing at the top.
